Looking for a wood finisher/wood restorer who would be willing to work in Norwalk CT for a couple of weeks to work on a project.
The project includes protecting the site and surounding surfaces, removing the existing finish, cleaning and preparing the wood, coloring and matching woods, and applying a new finish. Having knowledge of French polishing is a plus. Having some wood restoration skills is a plus. Must have some experience in wood finishing. Must speak English. References a must. Photos of past work projects a must.
The work period is from October 15-29, depending on site conditions.
Rate is $175-250/day depending on experience.
Travel expenses provided.
