Shop Hand – Full-Time
Yellow Factory USA – Maspeth, NY
Yellow Factory USA is a new and fast-growing millwork shop based in Maspeth, NY. We are currently seeking a skilled Shop Hand to join our team full-time. This role prefers experience using industrial sanding equipment to prep wood and other materials for high-end finishes.

Responsibilities:
- Smooth surfaces of wood and millwork components using industrial sanding machines and hand tools.
- Prepare materials for finishing by removing imperfections and ensuring a uniform surface.
- Inspect and feel surfaces to confirm smoothness and readiness for finishing.
- Load wood panels on and off machinery with care
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Organize inventory
Requirements:
- Skilled with hand tools and sanding equipment.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Preferred experience using industrial sanders (preferably experience with Homag OPTIMAT SWT335/QCH and/or Roba Tech 1300/2) and related machinery.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
