Are you looking to build a career in the woodworking and millwork industry? We are seeking a motivated Shop Helper / Assistant Installer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-quality shop environment while assisting with cabinetry, millwork, and installation projects.
Responsibilities:
✅ Assist in the shop with cutting, sanding, assembling, and preparing materials
✅ Support installers with loading and unloading materials
✅ Help with on-site installation of cabinets, millwork, and other woodworking projects
✅ Use hand and power tools to assist in fabrication and finishing tasks
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
✅ Follow instructions from senior team members to ensure efficiency and quality
✅ Learn and grow within the trade by developing new skills
Qualifications:
️ 1+ year of experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or construction (preferred but not required)
️ Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced craftsmen
️ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
️ Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus
️ Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
️ Team player who can work in a fast-paced environment
️ Basic understanding of measurements and math skills
