Voltaic Systems (www.voltaicsystems.com) designs solar power systems for industrial applications.
Voltaic is looking for someone to join the team at our warehouse facility to help with shipping and receiving, product assembly, and product testing. We are located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare packages for shipment
- Receive shipments promptly into our system
- Generate accurate shipping labels and documents
- Work with a team to assemble and test products
- Help maintain a clean and orderly work area
Ideal Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping / receiving, pick and pack, manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or other related fields
- Very comfortable using email and workflow management programs on a computer
- Enjoy working hands on with electronics
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic
This is a full time position starting ASAP with the opportunity to transition to full time with benefits.
Pay is a competitive entry level rate.
