We are in need of workers from a heavy construction background for a long-term opportunity in the Queens, NY area.
In this role, you will work with a team to repair and replace railroad tracks as needed. You will be required to adhere to FRA guidelines for safety and operation. You will also be required to collect and sort track materials, align tie plates, and perform other duties as needed. Some welding is preferred.
This is a Monday to Friday role; there is overtime available and the shift starts at 7:00 AM
The right person will have:
Experience with construction, landscaping, or other labor intense industry
Welding experience is preferred
A valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
Class B (or be willing to get one within 9 months)
The ability to lift 50 or more pounds regularly
The ability to work on their feet for extended periods of time
HS Diploma or GED
Candidate should be flexible to work overtime or various shifts as needed. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors in various climates.
This position starts at $24.00 per hour with additional compensation, and we are looking to interview immediately.
