We seek a qualified dispatcher to join our team and help ensure smooth operations.
Job Summary:
As a dispatcher, you will coordinate and manage the schedules and routes of our drivers to ensure the timely delivery of goods. A qualified person will also communicate with drivers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the activities of drivers
- Monitor vehicle location and adjust schedules and routes as needed
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates and resolve issues
- Track and report on delivery statuses
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatch or logistics is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
