Delivery Driver
Shift starts at 2am on Staten Island.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must have own car.
Must be able to use hand-trucks and carts to push and pull products up and down ramps or lift gates, on sidewalks and through store isles.
Teamwork and communications skills are needed for creating professional relationships with the team at each shop.
Reading and writing proficiency is required since you’ll be validating product orders, reading boxes and labels, and reading and comprehending road signs, and vehicle dashboard/instrument panel cues.
Must have a High School Diploma, equivalency, or GED.
Prior experience with route deliveries, customer service, handheld devices for inventory, and driving experience with a commercial vehicle is a plus.
Responsibilities:
You will deliver products to various shops or to customers on occasion.
Provide great customer service.
Load products onto your vehicle while cross-referencing your shuttle delivery orders.
Must operate vehicle safely, adhere to traffic rules & regulations, and report all moving violations and accidents involving injury or property/vehicle damage.
Keep your vehicle clean, perform routine maintenance checks (i.e., checking oil level), and report any concerns to your supervisor so they can be fixed.
Step Van Delivery driver
STEP-VAN DELIVERY DRIVERS (Staten Island)
Starting Pay: $22.00/hr.
Shift: Monday – Sunday (Weekends when required) 10:00am to 8:00 pm (Shifts range between 9-10 hours per day and shifts).
Average drivers work 4 days/week with shifts available 7 days per week at our location in Staten Island.
Job Duties:
Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
Use hand-held device for routing information and customer delivery information.
Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area.
Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
Load and unload packages to be delivered (door to door).
Be customer service focused (we strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers).
Essential Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Step-Van Driver experience
Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.
Compensation
Pay is $22.00 per hour
