Looking for someone with a cargo van, or box truck to help me go into New Jersey and get furniture 1-2 Saturdays a month with the opportunity to grow as our business grows. Must have plenty of experience in driving large vehicles in the city. Must have plenty of experience using tie downs and ratchet straps and must be able to help me lift wooden furniture on and off the truck. Not a hard job. The furniture isn’t huge, and stairs are avoided when possible. Same day pay always. Pay is $23 an hour. 10-12 hours on average with same day pay. Mileage will be reimbursed at 40 cents per mile, and all tolls will be covered by me as well. Preference will be for someone with an EZ pass.
You will be paid as an independent Contractor with your own vehicle and own equipment if you have it.
