We are transportation business with 3 hot shot trucks that is expanding into residential moving in Manhattan with a 26 foot box truck.
You will be our first box truck moving driver hired and ideally in charge of helping build out our Manhattan moving team. You will be compensated and paid as a manager with salary and monthly bonus.

Job Description
As a Box Truck Driver, you will play a key role in the success of our daily moving operations. You will be responsible for safely transporting residential goods and ensuring that our clients' belongings are handled with care and delivered on time. This is a full-time position, and you will work closely with a team of movers to provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a 26 ft. box truck for local residential moves within the five boroughs of New York City and beyond as needed.
- Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and other household items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
- Secure all items in the truck to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with the dispatch team.
- Interact with clients in a professional and friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist movers with packing, loading, and unloading as needed.
- Follow all NYC traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure the safety of the crew and the property being moved.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State driver’s license (CDL not required but preferred).
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Prior experience driving box trucks or moving trucks, ideally in a residential moving or delivery setting.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of NYC streets, traffic patterns, and parking regulations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
