A New York City services company is currently seeking a new .Net Developer for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the .Net Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing heavily transactional and multi-tiered web applications.

Responsibilities:
The .Net Developer will be responsible for:

• All aspects of database development: modeling, stored procedures, performance tuning, deploying, etc.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining Web Services for integrations with various internal and external applications
• Providing support for applications and working closely with Product and Account Management teams
• Working with the Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical designs and then help to plan the company's that deliver quality components and products on time
• Assisting the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements
• Actively participating in research, discussions and decisions on software architecture, development processes, and other standards
• Actively participating in the Scrum process, including Standups, Refinements, Planning, Retrospectives, Demos

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Application development experience one or many of: C#; .Net Core; ASP.Net Core; Server/PostgreSQL, SSIS; JavaScript; MV UI frameworks like Angular 2+; Windows/Linux environment
• Experience with Caching and Search technologies
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment
• Knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns and SOLID principle
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Integration technologies, especially with Web Services and Microservices
• Experience using tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, TFS, TeamCity, Artifactory, Docker, Splunk, etc.
• Experience with cloud based technologies as provided by AWS or Azure
• Experience working with off-shore resources
• Knowledge of Financial domain
