What you will be doing:
Working with business stakeholders, eliciting, capturing, communicating, and managing requirements for initiatives across business areas to be developed leveraging agile framework delivery processes.
The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver. As a Business Analyst, you will use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve organizational information challenges and will use your critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed user stories for analysis, development, and testing by the engineering team. You will work with tech area leadership and prioritization committee to understand priorities and determine timelines for delivery. You must have very strong writing and communication skills and can build relationships with both business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Elicitation, organization, translation, of both business level and functional requirements. Must identify and capture requirements, probing and challenging stakeholders to get to the right level of detail including identification of success criteria metrics.
• Manage requirements throughout the entire agile delivery lifecycle working closely with Scrum Master and Product Owner.
• As necessary perform as product owner for a Sprint, prioritizing and managing backlog and grooming based upon Prioritization Committee decisions.
• Confirm interpretation of requirements with stakeholders followed by user story communication and clarification for technology stakeholders.
• Development of business process flow and data processing logic.
• Development and execution of independent verification and validation test cases and plans, as well as production-based operational acceptance testing.
• Obtain Level of effort estimate from development engineering team, any resourcing contention, and communicate to Project Prioritization Committee.

Must have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• 5+ years experience as Business Analyst developing epics and user stories that guide development and QA teams in delivering high quality software features
• Experience with Agile delivery and processes including user stories
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Zendesk
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Data Analytics and Reporting Metrics
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Financial industry lending, underwriting, and credit risk knowledge would be a major plus
• Experience as a Product Owner a plus
• Possessing knowledge, some experience, and capabilities in the development of solutions, recommendations or outcomes is a plus
