We’re looking for a talented Comedy Writer to join our production team and help develop unique character-driven social media sketches that engage and entertain our rapidly growing audience. We currently reach a billion impressions yearly and millions of individuals. If you have a knack for crafting hilarious content that resonates with targeted demographics, this is likely the role for you.
Responsibilities
Develop original sketches and comedic scripts centered around a recurring character for social media platforms.
Collaborate closely with our team to refine the character’s voice and persona.
Brainstorm and pitch fresh, engaging sketch ideas that will captivate our audience and enhance the character’s appeal.
Adapt scripts based on feedback and audience response to continuously improve content.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in comedy writing, preferably with a focus on character-driven content.
Proven ability to write sharp, witty dialogue and build compelling comedic scenarios.
Familiarity with social media content trends, particularly vertical video formats (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok).
Understanding of the tech and crypto communities is a strong plus.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.

Location: New York City (remote considered, but must be able to join occasional in-person meetings).
Availability: 10+ hours per week, with potential to increase based on project needs.
Compensation: $30+ per hour, depending on experience.
