Location: New York City, NY Job Title: Merchant Account Manager
Overview: Our Client is a global e-commerce monetization platform that works with thousands of premium publishers and retailers around the world, helping content producers to get paid commissions for the products and brands they write about. This position is a unique one in the fact, that our client’s technology and network are proprietary. They are one of the largest independent customer acquisition channels for eCommerce and track over $2.5m affiliated sales every day and have the expertise and the tools to power all commerce strategies on every channel development of new Merchant/ Advertiser client relationships.
As a result of our continued growth and expansion, they’re seeking an experienced Merchant Account Manager to join their team in NY.
Skill Sets Required:
Account Experience in Business Development and/or Account Management, ideally within a large publisher or other online advertising technology platforms, selling complex ad packages including display, native/sponsored content, affiliate, social etc
Comprehensive knowledge of the dynamics of the online publishing and advertising industries, including key players, trends, and drivers.
Experience with and/or strong knowledge of a variety of online marketing channels including performance, display, PPC, SEO
Understanding of performance-based digital ad models (CPC, CPA, CPM)
Demonstrated success in negotiating, relationship building, and account management
Previous experience in a client-facing role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Strong analytic, quantitative, and technical aptitude with great attention to detail
