Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support of core payment processing infrastructure for leading investment bank.
• Exposure to compliance programs like OFAC and AML is preferred.
• Review user's requests and requirements, define feasibility and qualification.
• Write functional specifications based on users' requirements and applications design.
• Data analysis.
• Exposure to UNIX is preferred.
• Define testing strategy, tests plan and execute functional tests.
• Propose logical solutions and transform them into clear business and technical requirements.
• Utilize query tools to confirm data quality and investigate questions.
• Track, resolve and escalate issues for own projects while keeping relevant stakeholders informed.
• Support the production environment and address incidents logged under “Production Support”.
• Provide permanent solutions for all the problems logged under “Production Support”.
• Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and take action based on business needs.
• Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem, and change management.
• Raise/escalate any service-related issues and risks to Track lead and BCI lead.
• High energy, a results-driven person with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under minimal supervision.
• Qualifications:
• Graduate or postgraduate in Engineering or Technology with Computers or IT stream.
• Graduate or postgraduate in any stream with a course in Computers or IT stream.

Experience:

• 5 to 10 Years of total experience with 4+ years of relevant experience in Payments: Production support and projects
• Good exposure in Payment systems including Swift, and clearing systems (Fedwire and CHIPS ).
• Knowledge and experience in Payment back office system; ideally Montran GPS (Global payment systems)
• Experience in Financial security: Sanction filtering and AML
• He should be well versed with technologies like – SQL server, Oracle, Windows batch scripting, and Linux.
• Exposure to audits on the domain would be a real plus

Required Skills:

• Candidates should be well versed with technologies like – SQL server, Windows batch scripting, T-SQL.
• Experience and a good understanding of the MQ series.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to details.
• Working experience in applications related to Compliance in a banking environment.
• Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling applications.

Primary Duties:

• Production support: platform and users support.
• Coordination with various stakeholders: application and infrastructure teams, end users, clients, and Software vendors.
• Client-facing on domain covered.
• Maintain application and operational documentation.
• Data analysis.
• Requirement Gathering.
• Solution Design.
• Code Development.
• Unit and Integration Testing.
• User testing coordination.

Performance Goals:

• Meet defined SLAs and KPIs related to application development and support.
• Improvements and optimizations to stabilize the plant.
• Deliveries quality: application, documentation, testing.
• Positive client feedback.
• Answer accurately to audit questions and address audit remediations.
