IT Supervisor

IT Supervisor Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passion for solving complex problems? We’re looking for an IT Supervisor to provide top-tier support and ensure seamless operations across our IT infrastructure. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Configure, deploy, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

Configure, install, and troubleshoot all business applications, including Office 365, Bally’s CMP, Oracle Symphony, and Agilysys VisualOne.

Effectively troubleshoot and resolve end user technical issues, including support tickets that have been escalated by lower tiers.

Work with external vendors to facilitate the implementation of hotfixes, patches, upgrades, and other configuration changes as required by the escalation of tickets or infrastructure maintenance.

Assist in the setup, configuration and maintenance of network switches, routers, wireless access points and other networking hardware.

Assist with the development and deployment of network upgrades and expansions.

Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, flow charts and equipment configurations.

Recruit, development, retain, and organization all IT Specialist staff.

Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.

Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders

Responsible for strict adherence to compliance policies, internal control procedures, New York Commercial control specifications and company policies and procedures.

All other duties assigned.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

Directly supervises the activities of Information Technology Associates. Indirectly supervises the activities of all systems users on the property.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Must take part in the Emergency on Call Rotation for the property.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the IT industry. Experience working in hospitality, casino, financial or other high volume, customer-oriented environment is required. Experience working with gaming-related software to maintain system and network infrastructure is preferred. Experience supporting AS400 environment is preferred. Industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MCSA, etc.) are preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the project floor, the noise level increases to loud.
