Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced

Business Analyst with Guidewire ClaimCenter experience to work for us as a direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee, and the selected candidate will work in contract-to-hire position for our client

. Our client is a well-known global insurance company. It has a collaborative and friendly culture which places emphasis on integrity and working together. You will:

• Work on a hybrid basis (2 days in the office and 3 days from home) at any one of the following client locations: Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; Purchase, NY; New York, NY; or Florham Park, NJ.
• Work on the ClaimCenter application project.
• Conduct requirements definition for Claims solutions.
• Fully leverage your hands-on, subject matter expertise, experience, and in-depth knowledge in end-to-end, start-to-finish claims processing.
• Create business and functional requirements definition for claims processing and administration as well as downstream systems and reporting integrations.
• Review development and test deliverables as needed.
• Plan and facilitate user acceptance testing, including work with the stakeholders and PM to obtain UAT signoff.
• Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements elicitation sessions, meetings, and presentations.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, informational needs, and data sources.
• Translate these business needs into clearly-defined and documented, detailed business and functional requirements that include use cases, process flows, data flows, traceability matrixes, and screen mockups.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise, ensure that out of the box functionality is leveraged to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Lead review sessions for completed requirements to gain consensus and final business approval.
• Conduct project planning and estimation efforts as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3 + years of business analysis, including defining insurance business, functional, and reporting requirements
• 3+ years of conducting user acceptance testing for business-critical solutions in complex environments.
• Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Subject matter expertise, in-depth hands-on in end-to-end, start-to-finish claims processing. This experience is absolutely critical for this role.
• Writing and executing basic SQL queries
• Insurance/reinsurance experience and knowledge with understanding of the terminology, Claims business functions, and business processes.
• Formal SDLC, business analysis methodologies
• Working knowledge of BA documentation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, analytical, and written and verbal communication
• Clearly articulate to all project managers and stakeholders.
• Team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
• Bachelor’s Degree

• CBAP certification
• Team Foundation Server (TFS)
