Experience with root cause – corrective action investigation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Extensive knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the organization’s production processes.

Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Knowledge about First Article Inspection Reports per AS 9102.

Material Review Board experience.

Quality certifications – CQE, CQA, or similar.

Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering

2+ years in Quality Engineering, aerospace or other regulated industry

Experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace or other regulated industry.

Responsibilities:

Lead RCCA (Root Cause & Corrective Action) team in performing root cause failure analysis on field returns and presented findings in an orderly and timely manner

Participate in weekly MRB (Material Review Board) meetings alongside a team of engineers to make educated & informed decisions regarding non-conforming material (NCM)

Prepare & reviewed First Article Inspections (FAI's), Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP's), Quality Procedures, Inspection Plans, ECNs (Engineering Change Notice), Quality Manuals & Alerts for several military and commercial aircraft programs

Participate in both high speed & icing wind tunnel testing of early stage development products across multiple programs, including Apache, Boeing P-8A, Cessna, Mitac, as well as performed thermal analysis of ice accumulation on leading edges (horizontal & vertical stabilizers)

Design and construct test fixtures to conduct functionality tests for Boeing's P-8A Navy Program

Conduct conference calls & sit downs with customers and FAA regulators to present & review FAI submission for approval and buyer sign off

Review Manufacturing Procedures (MP's) and applied lean manufacturing methods to increase efficiency and overall quality assurance

Ensure dimensional requirements of select products via a FARO Arm as well as made tools for inspection and prototyping through the use of AutoDesk Inventor & a 3D printer
