The person in this position at the Imperial Industrial Park will assist Maintenance Supervisors in all aspects of outdoor maintenance and regular mowing using commercial ride-on mower, minimal push mower operation, regular mechanical weed trimming, occasional brush clearing and occasional lot sweeping with ride-on sweeper, occasional exterior painting and other exterior maintenance functions. The position requires simple minimum experience or education in the areas of painting and general outdoor landscape and lawn-care. The applicant should have basic knowledge and understanding of the safe use of the tools of the trade.
This position is seasonal with anticipated start date of April 1, 2019.
Experience with operation of skid loader, commercial mower, personnel lift and/or other trade equipment is a plus, but not required. Training provided. The position requires driver's license for operation of company vehicles.
All employees are required to wear safety shoes on site at all times and be familiar with or able to be trained on other safety equipment needed for the job, including the mandatory use of safety glasses in this position.
This is a part-time position with general hours three days per week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Hours may be weather dependent. Opportunity for up to full-time may be available occasionally depending on projects and weather.
