Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality team supporting production. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in a team environment which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Quality TechnicianLocation: Poestenkill, NYPay Range: $23 - $25/hr ( based on experience)What's the Job?
Support activities related to the implementation, maintenance, control, and monitoring of quality systems and standards
Monitor, assess, and approve the quality of materials and products at all stages of production
Inspect, evaluate data, sample and dispose of in-process, finished product and raw materials and product certification
Communicate product quality standards and assist production operators in achievement of those standards
Support calibration, complaint handling, CAPA/Event, and nonconforming material control/handling
What's Needed?
Minimum High school diploma
AS in Chemistry or related field desirable. Bachelors degree a plus
Previous experience in regulated industry such as life sciences, food and beverage, or aerospace preferred, laboratory skills also desired
Lifting (up to 40 pounds), Prolonged Standing and Bending Required
Factory and Laboratory work environment. Equipment may subject employee to chemical, temperature and moving parts/blades thus safety will be the priority
