HYBRID in either NY (Rochester or Binghamton), ME (Augusta or Portland), CT (Orange), MA (Boston, or OR (Portland)
MUST have solid Checkpoint OR Palo Alto experience, and heavy Cisco background. Need someone who's comfortable in a design setting, such as designing a security solution. Needs to understand key concepts for sound security practice and policies. Proxy Servers and or Infoblox would be great.

responsibilities:
1.Represents IOC Network Security in projects; gathers business requirements and architects / designs new network solutions including cloud technology, to meet business needs, global standards and network & security design standards. Interacts with global counterpart to reach agreement on solutions. Manages relationship with outsourced vendors and coordinates the execution of the design plan. Ensures that all aspects of the architecture are executed to plan.
2.Consistently reviews performance of existing infrastructure; plans and executes lifecycle upgrades as required to meet/exceed existing SLAs. Plans, coordinates, communicates and executes upgrades, leading cross functional teams as required. Manages relationship with outsourced vendors and coordinates the execution of the design plan. Ensures that all aspects of the architecture are executed to plan.
3.Analyzes current state and proposed network related infrastructure and conducts risks assessments based on impact and potential severity of a security related issue. Provides guidance and counsel to development groups within the Company to implement secure technical solutions for electronic commerce, EDI, web and other Internet
and intranet projects.
4.Participates in cyber investigations; analyzes data/evidence to identify potential cyber incidents and vulnerabilities. Conducts forensic research as required to assess impact to corporate information assets. Makes recommendations for corrective actions. Represents IT in investigations with legal and law enforcement entities, as required.
5.Monitors all aspects of Internet and intranet security and ensures ongoing effectiveness. Proactively assesses and makes recommendations for improvement.
6.Performs and manages 3rd party firewall and various security appliance administration, develops troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts. Identifies and evaluates new security products and technologies.
7.Acts as subject matter expert ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements including PCI, NERC CIP, SOX and others. Represents Network Communication in internal and external audits as required.
