Job Number: R0207277Cybersecurity Test Engineer, MidKey Role:Collaborate with a team of creative problem solvers to test and evaluate systems through a Whitebox adversarial approach for the DoD in support of our Air Force clients. Work with systems that are assessed based on the NIST 800-53 Risk Management Framework security controls. Focus on the filtering capabilities and data flows, including low levels, within the architecture of the system, including Mandatory Access Controls and Discretionary Access Controls. Build capabilities by learning from others' expertise within our diversely skilled team.Basic Qualifications:Experience with Linux command line, including scripting in Ruby, Python, and Bash, and automating basic tasksExperience with networking conceptsExperience with virtualizationSecret clearanceHS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity, information security, or information technology, or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity, information security, or information technologyAbility to obtain a DoD IAT Level II Compliant Security+ CE Certification within 120 days of start dateAdditional Qualifications:Experience analyzing and executing test plans and proceduresExperience developing or analyzing technical documentationExperience with penetration testing or adversarial emulationExperience with NIST 800-53 security controlsKnowledge of cyber threats and how to appropriately harden a system to prevent themKnowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, including Kali Linux, Wireshark, Tripwire, Burp Suite, and MetasploitTS/SCI clearanceMaster's degreeOSCP, CISSP, CASP, Red Hat CSA, or GPEN CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
