We ae hiring an Histology Supervisor with 1-3+ years of experience Supervisor Experience! Ability to interview & on-board ASAP with Competitive Pay!Job Description:The Histology Supervisor Will:
Manage the day to day operations of the department. This includes:
Staff supervision including but not limited to training, competency assessment
Perform interviews and all hiring
Annual employee performance evaluations
Produce, monitor and maintain productivity, quality and TAT metrics
Prepare and revise SOP’s and manuals
Oversee and perform histology work – grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, QA
Maintain all quality and service standards
Adhere to department budget
Validation of methodology and instrumentation.
Laboratory Inspection and preparation
Skills:Histology Supervisor, Histotech, instrumentation, Specimen processing, medical technology, Biology, quality assurance, quality controlAdditional Skills & Qualifications:BS/BA Degree with minimum 1-3 years of histology supervisory experience. Must meet all state and local licensing requirements where the laboratory is located (NY State) and must meet all College of American Pathologists (CAP) and CLIA requirements.
