My mom has multiple sclerosis so she is wheelchair bound. She's in her 60s. Very positive person and works hard.
We have a few positions available:
1. Evenings that we have available are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5p-8p! Just helping my mom do some stretches to avoid stiffness, get her dinner which is already made, helping her to the bathroom.
2. Saturday nights we also have available 8p-8a, you'd get up a few times in the night to help her to the bathroom and shower in the morning
3. Tuesday nights we also have available 8p-8a, you'd get up a few times in the night to help her to the bathroom and shower in the morning
4. Every other Sunday 8a-8pm.
We pay 17.55/hr. We will pay through my mom's insurance because she qualifies for hours. So you'd have to sign up through Committed Care to get paid, it's so we can choose our own caregivers. We help with this process!
There is some lifting (couch to wheelchair, etc) so if you can't lift then let me know, as that will be apart of the job. She uses a sit to stand in the bathroom.
Looking forward to hearing from you
