Looking for a home health worker to provide assistance in LaFayette for a 90 year old man with dementia, incontinence and limited mobility. Prior experience with similar clients is desired. Duties include but are not limited to:
-showering, shaving, grooming and other hygiene care
-assistance in transferring client
-help with toileting and cleaning bathroom
-meal preparation as directed
-prescribed PT exercises and short walks
-laundry and help with dressing
-light cleaning/tidying up
Shifts are 7:00am-10:00am Monday through Friday, beginning immediately. Compensation is $22 an hour. Some is paid by an agency (and requires some paid training with that agency) and the rest is supplemented by private pay. Family would consider hiring more than one assistant in order to cover all shifts.
Candidates will need reliable transportation.
