Local building maintenance company is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform work at multiple commercial properties. The position will be required to perform general repairs and maintenance as scheduled or requested by the customer. Some prior experience in general building repair and maintenance is required. Experience performing light electrical and plumbing repair is desired. Some experience with HVAC maintenance is a plus.
Duties will also include snow removal, landscaping/lawn maintenance, and other similar duties. Must be comfortable responding to unexpected calls for repair during the work day, while also maintaining a regular maintenance schedule of projects. Must be able to use hand tools and some power tools (saws, drills, etc.). Employees must travel between buildings within Syracuse and surrounding area. Valid Driver License and reliable transportation required is needed.
Regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional scheduled weekend work. Must be available on-call for occasional emergency repairs and snow removal, when necessary.
