We are currently looking for 1 new Full Time Structured Handler to join our team. This role has 30-40 hours per week. Looking for day time hours primarily during the week M-F. Schedules for full time team members typically range from 7a-3p, 8a-4p 10a-6p, 12p-8p. Our schedule varies a little week to week much like a restaurant.
This role is much more involved than a standard dog walking job. We are a training based-company, and Structured Handlers must learn high levels of dog behavior/ training. Handlers learn leash skills, how to read dog's body language, how to follow specific rules and interact with dogs in a certain way, how to maintain the dog's good behavior and skills, etc. We are seeking someone who is interested in and prepared to learn the complex and involved skill of dog training/professionally managing dog behavior. While a deep affection for animals is a wonderful starting point, it needs to be stressed that this job is much more than that and requires successfully building a comprehensive skill set in dog behavior. This training will be provided on the job.

Must be 21 years of age or older for this job. The role pays $20-22/hour (which includes mileage reimbursement). Employment status is independent contractor.
The ideal person for this job:
--Has daytime availability
-- Loves animals and has a great attention to detail
-You must have your own reliable transportation to get to clients homes, and this cannot be uber/taxi/lyft or walking. This means snow tires and capable of getting through winter weather on the daily.
-You must have a smartphone with GPS and capable of taking photos and running our software
-You must be able to pass a background check
-YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND CAPABLE OF WALKING YOUR ENTIRE SHIFT. Each 30 minute walk is about 1 mile.
-You must be capable of being outside in the cold/rain/snow/heat/wind. We work OUTSIDE daily and must deal with weather of all types and must come prepared with coats, raincoats, boots, hydration, etc.
-You must have experience working with dogs or animals in some capacity, which can include volunteer work.
