Well-established commercial janitorial services company has great opportunities for those seeking regular employment assignments. Assignments include Downtown Syracuse and surrounding areas. Currently we have a need for a Part-time Cleaner for evening shifts with our commercial customers. We also have a need for someone interested in working as a "floater" to cover assignments when other employees are not available. Job duties include but are not limited to:
Cleaning work areas, break rooms, and common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and wiping down counters.
Sanitizing restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down sinks, brushing down toilets, cleaning mirrors, emptying trash, and filling soap and paper dispensers.
Emptying trash throughout facility.
Other related cleaning tasks.
Schedules are typically Monday through Friday. Some assignments may only require 2 or 3 days per week. A limited number of afternoon assignments may be available. Position hours range from approximately 10 - 20 hours per week, depending on the customer.
Prior commercial cleaning experience is preferred. Qualified candidates have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, customer service skills and work well in both a team environment and independently.
