Federico Solmi Studio, located in Downtown Auburn, NY, is currently accepting applications for a Summer Internship in painting and drawing.
Duration: July and August 2025 (2 months)
Schedule: Minimum 3 days/week, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship opportunity that includes transportation and meal allowances. Participants will receive professional mentorship and may be eligible to earn academic credit, subject to their institution's approval.
About the Position:
We are offering a hands-on Painting and Drawing Internship. Ideal candidates will be students or recent graduates in Art, Art History, Computer Arts, Film, or related fields. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the arts.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of various artworks including paintings, drawings, and mixed media
Support the artist with upcoming exhibitions and international projects
Work with references using acrylic paint; strong drawing and painting skills required
