We are seeking motivated, creative, and committed mentors to assist a young man in his home and in the community. Requirements include assisting individual with personal care tasks such as shaving, bathrooming, showering, assisting individual to work on goals related to independent living skills, and assisting individual to attend community events and activities, volunteer opportunities and make social connections. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. The young man uses multiple communication methods, including facilitated communication; training will be made available to support staff upon hire.
Reliable vehicle with air conditioning required. Driver's license in good standing required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be completed prior to hire by agency
Part time position: Looking for a single individual for Tuesdays 3pm-8pm and Thursdays 1:30pm - 8pm. Hours may vary some based on the guardians work schedule, more so Jan- Apr as well as Sept. and Oct. Additional shifts may be available through agency.
