Temporary Office admin/receptionist for historic home

20 hours/week: Tues-Friday 10-3; may have some flexibility

$15.00/hour . March 6-June 1, 2019

Qualifications:

Office experience

Customer service experience

Light bookkeeping

Requirements:

• Professional.

• Punctual.

• Extremely organized with great multi-tasking skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Energetic.

• Detail oriented.

• Experience with QuickBooks.

• Knowledge with Excel, word and other computer basic programs.

• Positive Attitude

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat

• Organizational Skills with Attention to Detail

Experience using constant contact, and social media platforms a plus

Duties include, but are not limited to:

− Working with Executive Director on all projects

− Ordering of supplies and organization of office.

− Accounting and administrative functions.

− Format, input, edit, retrieve, copy, scan and transmit documents.

− Working with bookkeeper on finances

− Managing grant records

− Running operations during open hours (including gift shop)

− Scheduling tours and facilitating tours

− Greeting individual visitors and engaging them in dialogue about the social justice issues

− Working with/scheduling volunteer hours

− Coordinating events & volunteers for events

− Making out checks and bank deposits, filing paperwork

− Updating databases and social media accounts

− Sending out mass emails.

− Keeping weekly records of visitors, sales, donations

− Preparing/Shipping out online gift shop orders

− Light cleaning/trash removal
