Modern Kitchens of Syracuse has an immediate opportunity for an Order Expediter.
Modern Kitchens of Syracuse is a 65+ year old, family owned, wholesale distributor of major appliances and cabinetry including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, Asko, Scotsman, Best, Wood-Mode, Brookhaven, and Merillat.
The Order Expediter position is a an extremely important position in our company. This position assists all internal salespeople, and dealer salespeople, in the proper placing of orders for all products. They will be trained to be experts on the products we handle. This position is our customer's primary point of contact for questions regarding product specifications, and sales promotions, that may be running at any particular point in time.
The Order Expediter is also our main liaison with the manufacturers we represent, placing orders and communicating regularly with them to ensure product is available where and when it is needed.
The Order Expediter position requires:
⢠Outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
⢠A âCan Doâ attitude, where solving problems and taking care of customers is the primary focus.
⢠Familiarity with Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
⢠Personal accountability and great attendance.
⢠A willingness to continuously learn new products, programs, and adapt to changing systems from our
business partners.
The Order Expediter candidate with the following skills will be preferred:
⢠Experience in the appliance, cabinet, or related building product industry.
⢠Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 software.
⢠Familiarity with Crystal Reports.
