We are looking to hire a lead/foreman to assist in the construction of patios, walkways, retaining walls, additions and other various construction projects. Our company specializes in everything outdoor construction in the warmer months and we move inside to interior projects such as kitchens, baths and finished basements in the winter. With that being said this is a fulltime, non-seasonal position so there are no layoffs in the winter. Experience is required.
Some of the skills we are looking for are:
- Ability to run equipment such as skid steers, dingos and mini excavators.
- Ability to tow and back up trailers.
- Ability to set elevations.
- Ability to screed.
- Ability to lay and cut block/pavers.
- Ability to read/understand a design or blueprint.
- Ability to install bullnose coping.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Proficient in standard jobsite algebra/math and/or use of a construction calculator.
Please let us know what other trades you are proficient in. We are not interested in any trade/skills you cannot do proficiently without supervision.
Must Have:
- A reliable vehicle
- A drivers license
- Able to work 40+hrs a week M-F
Depending on your skills and abilities pay will range from $25/hr to $35/hr. There will be a probationary period of 60 days which you will work with us on site and prove your knowledge and abilities, after which the decision will be made whether to give you a company truck and lead your own jobs.
