MOBILE TRUCK/TRAILER MECHANIC
Service Tire Truck Centers, (STTC) a thriving mechanical business and leading provider of truck tires and services to the transportation industry with over 50 + locations in 8 states is offering an opportunity for a top quality Mobile Truck/Trailer Mechanic in the Syracuse, NY area.
Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
Looking for qualified people who are customer centered and can work independently repairing and servicing commercial vehicles in the Syracuse, NY area.
Candidates must have at least 3+ years of Mechanical experience with complete trailer restoration and be able to:
ï¼ Have a Mechanical background with commercial vehicles
ï¼ Be able to perform Federal Inspections and General Repairs
ï¼ Troubleshoot and Repair ABS systems
ï¼ Have Dry Van Trailer knowledge
ï¼ Be self-motivated to produce efficient quality repairs
ï¼ Have electrical knowledge
ï¼ Welding experience
ï¼ Repairing and replacing damaged parts of trailers
ï¼ Inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on equipment
ï¼ Performing safety inspections
ï¼ Ensuring excellent working conditions of equipment
ï¼ Do repair body work on trailers
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Job Requirements:
⢠CDL preferred but not required.
⢠Must be qualified to complete FHWA inspections
⢠Minimum of 3 years' experience working on brakes
⢠Knowledge of trailer systems such as air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general knowledge of mechanical operation and body repair.
