USAI, a not-for-profit educational organization based in New York State's Catskill Mountains, provides Summer day camp fellowships to local teens and tweens as part of our Cultural Exchange Program. Fellowships to attend day camp for free are given to qualified families who host one of our International day campers, with the goal of both the American and International campers bonding by being together at camp and spending evenings and weekends in a warm, nurturing family environment. International students come for 3-4 weeks in July and are from Europe, between the ages of 9 and 16. Hosting an international student is a great way to introduce your family to another culture while having lots of fun.
USAI is an American organization not in partnership with any foreign agency. Our principals and directors are US citizens. 100% of all funds generated by our programs stays in the local economy. We do not "send" students to the US we "bring" them here.
