Compressor Analyst Technician

National Fuel is currently seeking a full-time Compressor Analyst Technician for an outstanding career opportunity at our Sweden Valley or Marvindale Compressor Station located in Coudersport/Mount Jewett, PA. The candidate must be available to work Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Position to be filled at either Sweden Valley or at Marvindale Compressor Station depending on location of successful candidate. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gather and interpret compressor/engine performance and health data.

Conduct vibration and pulsation surveys.

Compile and analyze field data using Microsoft Office and other programs.

Perform emissions compliance testing and leak surveys at compressor facilities.

Assist the Company’s maintenance mechanics with trouble shooting.

Improve and monitor equipment reliability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s Degree in a technical field

Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of engines (4 cycle and 2 cycle), compressors, regulators and other related controls and instrumentation.

The ability to troubleshoot all types of mechanical equipment.

The successful candidates must possess exceptional analytical, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology is desirable

Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting

Formal engine and compressor analyzer degrees and/or certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $83,000.

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
