Looking for a senior female caregiver ( 40
+) for a senior with dementia. Experience with dementia is preferred because you need extreme patience and experience dealing with situations that involve anxiety and forgetfulness. My mom’s current caregivers work either nine to noon or 4 to 6 PM. I am looking for someone to fill in the gaps and for when they call in . I also need dedication to a Saturday and Sunday 4 - 6 shift. Duties include breakfast or dinner meal prep, medication prompting, going for walks, occasional house cleaning, And primarily companionship. Must be ok with a dog. I need someone companionship, patient and kind, dedicated to long-term possession with flexible hours because it is difficult to introduce my mom to new people continuously. She doesn’t understand that she needs assistance so she thinks her caregivers are her friends visiting.
