HR Generalist Opportunity, Oneida, NY (2) Openings M-F 7AM – 4PM …. OR ……. 10AM -7PM
1. Serve as a key HR partner building trust and credibility with associates to drive timely and effective solutions.
2. Conduct accurate, timely employee investigations and ensure proper documentation and resolution.
3. Reduce error and rework rate on documentation, corrective actions, and investigations
4. Partner to reduce time-to-fill from offer through completion of onboarding process
5. Follow a true investigation process from start to finish with “done right the first time” objectives
6. Support recruitment, on boarding, and orientation processes as needed
7. Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local HR laws, as well as internal company policies.
8. Facilitate and support employee engagement activities, internal communications, wellness initiatives, and Job Fairs
9. Demonstrate initiative and interest to learn a process and work creatively to make it more efficient
10. Opportunity to add value quickly and make a difference through effective communication and follow through
Qualifications:
1. AAS degree preferred, 1-2 years experience in a HR as a Coordinator or Generalist
2. Any industry is ok, food or dairy manufacturing is a plus
3. Authentic passion for wanting to make a difference
4. Must operate with a high sense of urgency in this fast-paced manufacturing environment
