Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Appliance Installer and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of appliances—including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and more—ensuring they operate flawlessly in our customers’ homes. Your mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and field service experience will help you troubleshoot issues on-site, provide top-tier customer service, and ensure every installation meets our high standards. Responsibilities
Safely transport appliances to customer locations using a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols.
Unload appliances from delivery trucks and inspect for damage or missing parts before installation.
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to facilitate proper installation procedures.
Assemble appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications, including connecting electrical wiring, plumbing (for refrigeration or washing machines), and mechanical components.
Install appliances in designated areas within customers’ homes or businesses, ensuring proper placement and secure connections.
Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical or electrical issues on-site using your appliance repair skills and equipment repair knowledge.
Test installed appliances thoroughly to confirm correct operation, making adjustments as needed.
Provide clear explanations and guidance to customers on appliance use, maintenance tips, and safety precautions.
Maintain detailed records of each installation, including parts used, issues encountered, and customer feedback.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installations while maintaining high quality standards.
Follow all safety procedures related to electrical work, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and general field service operations.
Skills
Proven experience in appliance repair and field service roles with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams confidently.
Mechanical knowledge related to appliance assembly, equipment repair, and troubleshooting electrical or refrigeration systems.
Customer service skills that enable clear communication and positive interactions with clients during installations.
Experience with refrigeration systems or HVAC is a plus for handling specialized appliances.
Delivery driver experience with box trucks or similar vehicles is advantageous for efficient transportation of appliances.
Electrical experience for connecting power supplies safely and correctly during installations.
Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment necessary for appliance setup and repairs.
