Nimey's Riverside Automotive is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Utica, New York. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary of $20 to $45 per hour, paid weekly. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
Repair and replace parts, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Maintain and update vehicle records and maintenance schedules
Communicate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and effective repair processes
Keep up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and techniques
Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Accomplish other duties as assigned by management
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
ASE certification preferred
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Knowledge of automotive systems and their functions
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record
