Oneida
Molded Plastics, LLC is looking for a Process Technician to
join their growing Oneida, NY team. This is a critical role
responsible for developing new processes and maintaining all current established
processes using Scientific Injection molding techniques.

Qualified
candidates must have:
High School diploma or equivalent
10+ years of Decoupled Injection Molding processing experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong motivational and organizational skills
Ability to recognize and implement continuous improvement projects
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Read and maintain a working knowledge of internal Quality Procedures and Manufacturing
work instructions.
Provides technical process support to the organization.
Interface with quality personnel, shift supervisors, technicianâs and
manufacturing managers on a professional basis
Report scheduled activities to management during daily management meeting.
Maintain knowledge of production schedule and ensure technical issues are
acknowledged and addressed to support schedule.
Perform new mold sampling, DOEâs, material samples, engineering changes,
etc.
Establish and document injection molding process for all new jobs.
Validate and document any changes to existing processes.
Active participant in continuous improvement activities.
Ensure that production set-up's are clean and organized
Perform start-up's and shutdowns as needed
Perform mold changes as needed
