A premier manufacturing company in the Utica area is seeking a 1st shift Quality Control Lab Technician. This individual will be responsible for performing tests on their manufactured products to ensure that quality standards for the products are met.
Job Duties Include:
- Assist with the day-to-day material testing operations ensuring compliance to ISO and ISO 17025 quality standards
- Report & maintain records of all quality activities
- Organize/maintain daily test lab data and records
- Perform instrument set up and calibration
- Prepare samples for daily dynamic testing
- Enter test results into various databases
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Prior quality control experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using measuring instruments
- Computer proficiency
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Physically capable of climbing stairs & lifting up to 50 lbs
Hours: Monday Thursday, 7am - 4pm, and Friday, 7am - 1pm
Pay rate: $14.00/hr with an increase after probationary period
