Large, fast-paced and growing remodeling company has an immediate opening for a measure technician and field supervisor to assist in project management for residential siding, window and roofing jobs in the Syracuse market area.
Coverage area will be approx 60-90 minute radius around Syracuse
Job Description:
Responsible for meeting with all customers to verify work scope & re-confirm final measurements
Manage sub-contractor crews (including quality of workmanship, scheduling, etc)
Must have an extensive background in measuring and installing replacement windows/siding/roofing
Provide exact order sizes for all window replacement projects
Provide a detailed material takeoff for all roofing and siding projects
Provide detailed notes to installers to ensure the job gets installed correctly & on time
Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations & provide solutions.
Job site inspections to ensure quality of install crews
Assist in process of pulling permits
Job Responsibilities - Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making skills
Reasonably tech savvy (mobile phone, text, email, etc)
Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
Solid communication skills; clear and readable written documents, graphics & drawings
Proven organizational skills; prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and effectively
Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes
Valid driver's license
