Timeless Décor & Frames is seeking a dynamic Cost Analyst for our contract hospitality department. Working directly with customers and vendors, successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, be focused on customer relations, and be able to juggle simultaneous projects. Working in an active bid environment, strong analytical and accounting skills are a must.
Responsibilities include:
⢠Work directly with customer accounts as assigned, fulfilling requested RFQs, problem
resolution, project management and acting as a liaison between the customer and
various departments.
⢠Determining required components and associated costs to provide estimates for projects bids and
projected, competitive, selling prices while securing the best margins.
⢠Interact with vendors to obtain the best pricing for components.
⢠Create spreadsheets for interpretation and analysis
⢠Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
⢠Handle a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks working independently with
little or no supervision.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
⢠Associates degree in accounting or finance or equivalent years of experience
⢠Ability to interact with numerous vendors to determine and obtain the best pricing
⢠Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook must be able to effectively multitask on a
consistent basis.
⢠Candidates to have strong organizational and prioritizing skills, as well as being
detailed oriented and self motivators.
⢠Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
⢠Strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
⢠Flexibility to take ownership of a project and to foresee and resolve issues.
