I have 20 motel rooms and 16 cottages to prepare for the 2019 season.
Responsibilities include; Opening units, which will involve cleaning, hanging drapes, taking inventory of each unit and making beds.
Desk clerk involves; Greeting customers, complete the registration forms. Confirming reservation information including number of guests and room rates. Assign selection of rooms based on guest needs. Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Verify and authorize credit card payments. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts. Help solve guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and high occupancy. Ensure Guests have a positive,memorable experience from check-in through check-out. You will need customer service skills and telephone courteousey.
