Sheland Farms in Belleville is looking for a dependable team member to join our team. This person would primarily be performing mechanic duties with some equipment operating or truck driving. Responsibilities may include assisting with maintaining equipment and facilities, equipment operation including but not limited to operating a manure drag line system, field work, truck driving. Applicants should have mechanical skills, be able to help keep shop and parts inventories organized and be willing to cooperate and work well with others. The ability to operate a skid steer, tractors and large farm equipment, lift 50 pounds and be flexible with work hours as well as a CDL is preferred. Total hours would vary depending on season, persons interest generally 40 to 60 hours per week. Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour and depends on experience, skills, and performance.
