We are currently seeking a passionate individual for the position of a Full Time Community Residence Supervisor our Community Residence Program. In this crucial role, you will supervise several Residential Counselors and you will also assist the house residents in developing independent living skills to increase their self-sufficiency, self-esteem, and self-worth. Individuals living in the community residence program are diagnosed with severe, persistent mental illness. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overall supervision and coverage of the Community Residence (CR) Program

Responsible for the specific duties, supervision of the CR Program in relationship to the attached division of work

Responsible for providing coverage during the absence of the Asst. Administrator.

Assist in the selection of appropriate staff persons for CR Program

Supervise and coordinate the development and review of individual service plans, discharge plans, progress, incident and utilization reports

Provide feedback to the appropriate Administrator for evaluation of Assistant Administrators

Provide on-call back up to residential staff in the event of a medical or psychiatric emergency

Attend appropriate Agency meetings as approved or requested by the administration

Responsible for record audits

Responsible for the overall supervision of service planning, case conferences, discharge planning as well as Medicaid billing and rehabilitative services

Responsible for other related activities

Requirements

High School Diploma with related experience required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services highly preferred

Related experience working with people living with mental illness or other disabilities that require assistance in day to day living required

6 months supervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements: Sits, stands, stoops, squats, walks, and moves intermittently during work hours, may push or pull 10-15 pounds daily, may push or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.

A valid NYS Driver's License in good standing

Schedule: Monday through Friday and rotating on call schedule
