Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team in YAPHANK, New York. The Controller will be instrumental in managing and maintaining all financial aspects of the company, with a focus on accounting functions, auditing, and budget processes. This role will particularly suit individuals with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using various accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Utilize accounting software system Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards. Develop and manage budget processes, ensuring all financial operations align with the company's fiscal objectives. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all customer credit applications. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, leveraging excellent customer service skills. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Utilize Foundation Software and other tools to streamline and improve accounting processes.Requirements Minimum of five years of experience in a Controller role or similar financial management position Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and CRM Excellent understanding of accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Prior experience in auditing and ensuring financial compliance Knowledge of budget processes and financial forecasting Ability to utilize Foundation Software for financial management Strong communication and leadership skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
