As Financial Controller for Northern Europe, your main focus will be on our BeNeLux entities. You will be responsible for the month-end close process, working closely with the accounting assistants who prepare most journal entries. You will take ownership of the more complex analyses yourself and work in close partnership with Business Control and local teams. Your Accountabilities:Prepare local statutory financial statements across the Northern Europe regionSupport both local and group audit processesOversee tax compliance activities, including corporate income tax and VATSupport a broad range of Financial Control topics across the regionDrive continuous improvement initiatives within Financial ControlWork closely with colleagues across departments and local marketsPerform analytical reviews of the P&L and balance sheetInvestigate variances and validate financial resultsResolve ad hoc financial issues with accuracy and ownershipTranslate financial insights into meaningful input for monthly and quarterly reporting and business reviews
