What you will be doing
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the overall Food & Beverage experience within the hotel. You will oversee our restaurants, bar, terrace and meeting facilities, ensuring seamless operations, excellent guest satisfaction, and strong business performance.In this role, you will:Lead, inspire and develop the F&B team, creating a culture of engagement, accountability and excellence.As Head of the F&B department, you will directly manage a leadership team consisting of three F&B Supervisors (Rob, Freek and Alan) and the Executive Chef (Pascal). Together with two Sous Chefs (Rob and Andre), you will build a high-performing team culture focused on quality, collaboration, innovation and guest satisfaction.Be a visible presence on the floor, supporting the team and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.Drive operational quality and service standards across all F&B outlets.Monitor and optimize financial performance, productivity and profitability.Ensure efficient workforce planning and talent development.Collaborate closely with other department heads as an active member of the Hotel Management Team.Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, increase revenue and strengthen operational performance.Coach and empower your team through continuous feedback and on-the-job development.Ensure compliance with all health, safety and Mercure brand standards.This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational involvement and who wants to make a visible impact on both the business and the people within it.
