Join Vattenfall to lead and shape the OT (Operational Technology) security architecture capability that underpins our operational technology platforms across sites and fleets. This is not only an architecture role. You will act as a Technical Authority for OT security, owning standards, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring consistent and secure solutions across projects and operational assets. You will play a key role in building and developing OT security competencies across Digital Engineering, while ensuring our architectures are robust, compliant, and scalable. What you’ll doArchitecture & GovernanceDefine, publish, and maintain the OT security architecture baseline based on IEC 62443 and relevant standardsOwn the design, selection, and lifecycle of OT security controls and architectures across projects and operational assetsEstablish and enforce security standards, reference architectures, and design guardrailsAct as the technical escalation point for complex OT security decisions and risk trade-offsTechnical Authority & Capability BuildingAct as Technical Authority for OT security, ensuring quality and consistency of engineering solutionsGuide, coach, and challenge engineering and project teams on secure design and implementationDrive competence development in OT security across engineering teams (methods, tooling, best practices)Translate security requirements into clear, actionable guidance for engineers, operations, and stakeholdersSecurity Engineering & OperationalisationOwn and steer key OT security workflows (segmentation, access management, hardening/patching, logging/detection, incident response, backup)Ensure these workflows are standardised, embedded in roadmaps, and consistently implemented across sites and projectsDefine and maintain OT Security Provisions for primary OT zones, including technical patterns and operational requirementsSupport projects and assets in implementing, operating, and continuously improving these provisionsArchitecture Integration & Stakeholder AlignmentContribute to and shape OT/IT reference architecture, including zone models and secure integration patternsAnchor security control decisions across business units, working with security and compliance functionsLead design reviews, risk assessments, and formal approvals of OT security architectures
